Update: City advises of critical Atlantis electricity work

The City advises consumers in the Atlantis Industrial area of an electricity supply interruption for essential Eskom NTCSA infrastructure maintenance, which will be carried on Friday, 20 June 2025, and Thursday, 26 June 2025, from 08:30 to 16:00. The City apologises for any inconvenience.

It is important to note that interruptions to supply will only impact the areas on the maps and only on the relevant dates. The work will be carried out from 08:00 to 16:00, if all goes to plan.

Please note:
The electricity supply could be restored at any time and customers must please treat all electrical installations as live for the full duration of the planned maintenance work.

Residents are encouraged to switch off appliances as a precaution and to avoid damage caused by power surges when the power comes back on.

The City apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks residents for their cooperation and understanding.
